Perspex International Respects Your Privacy

Insofar the Internet offering of Perspex International provides the option to enter personal or business data, this data is entered by the user explicitly on a voluntary basis. To process your enquiry (to send brochures, samples or to respond to price enquiries), we sometimes work with partners/distributors to whom we forward your data to enable the timely completion of your enquiry. All information is treated confidentially in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection legislation.

Access Data

The operator or provider of the website records data about accesses to the site and saves this as server log files. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Website visited
  • Time of access
  • Quantity of data transmitted in bytes
  • Source/link from which you accessed the site
  • Browser and operating system used
  • IP address used

The data recorded is used solely for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, the operator of the website reserves the right to review these server log files subsequently if there is concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies enhances the user-friendliness and security of this website.

Standard browsers provide options to block cookies. Note: Continued unrestricted access to all functions of this website cannot be guaranteed if you implement the corresponding settings.

Handling Personal Data

The operator of the website only gathers, uses and discloses your personal data to the extent legally permitted or if you consent to the collection of data.

Personal data is defined as all information that is used to identify you as a person and which can be traced back to you – for example, your name, your e-mail address, and telephone number.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). It is used on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 P. 1 letter f. GDPR. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website, such as

browser type/version,
operating system used,
referrer URL (the previously used page),
hostname of the accessing computer (IP address),
time of the server request,

is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We have also expanded Google Analytics on this website to include the “anonymizeIP” code. This guarantees anonymised data collection by masking the last part of your IP address. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

On behalf of the provider of this website, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide services to the website provider with regard to website use and Internet use. You may refuse the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings of your browser software. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent Google’s collection and use of data (including your IP address) generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. As an alternative to the browser add-on, particularly for browsers on mobile terminal devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. This sets an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection of your data when you visit this website in the future. The opt-out cookie only applies to this browser and only for our website and it is stored on your device. If you delete cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

You can find additional information about privacy in connection with Google Analytics in the Google Analytics Help section (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).

Use of Web Fonts

This website uses external fonts, Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are usually included by means of a server call, generally to a Google server located in the USA. As a result, information about which of our websites you have visited is transmitted to the server. Google also stores the browser IP address of the terminal device used by the visitor to this website. You can find more detailed information in the Google privacy policies, which you can access here:
